San Pietro Hotel and its restaurant Zass (Michelin Star) represent one of Positano’s gastronomic excellences. Overlooking Praiano and the Costa, the starred restaurant of San Pietro is immersed in its Mediterranean atmosphere. The dishes of the chef Alois Vanlangenaeker reflect his research for purity, harmony and refinement. His creations recall contemporary painting and at the same time maintain the Italian gastronomic tradition. Many of the products used by its 32-member brigade come from hotel gardens or local producers. In 2002 Alois did combine his prestigious international experience with the dream of the owner Vito Cinque to create a culinary culture for the San Pietro with a new and fresh approach to catering.
