A “hole” that such is not, indeed it is a refined gourmet retreat for gourmets able to taste the most elegant and most authentic Mediterranean cuisine. In the basements of a convent, under the arches that lead to Marina Piccola, the restaurant designed, created and managed by Peppe Aversa welcomes customers with friendly attention, with the declared intention of making them feel at home. The kitchen, attentive to raw materials and open to international contaminations, especially the oriental ones, draws a menu of great personality. Large plates of raw, steamed crustaceans to begin with. Then many delicacies such as gnocchi with ginger, with prawns and seafood in miso broth. Or the blended and recomposed octopus. But there are also the great classics of our tradition, from the paccheri with the octopus genovese to the Neapolitan ragù. A rich map suggests many possible taste itineraries. Sumptuous desserts and an excellent wine list.
