Marevivo Restaurant – Castellammare di Stabia
Santa Di Salvo
The restaurant is new, the name is not really new. He left it for good luck, identical to the previous management, Antonio Esposito, a young entrepreneur who has a long family tradition with the sea. In fact, his father Raffaele manages the Portosalvo quay, where the restaurant is located on a moored barge. This is the place where often Lucio Dalla came, and many other famous names, who also attended the historic chalet of his uncle Gennaro. The reception and the kitchen are simple and familiar, just like being on a boat. Naturally, the abundant and fragrant dishes linked to the sea are preferred. Prime among these is the rich and thick fish soup. And the mussel soup, very fresh. Many first courses linked to tradition, such as pasta and beans with mussels, but also the desire for lightness of the sea, such as spaghettoni with mint and lemon sea truffles, or with garlic oil, pink pepper and shrimp carpaccio.
